Pssht, J, it's dead end, not death end...that sounds very ominous.  But other than that, looking good! I think your house has pretty much the same sort of location as my parents' house: in a village of about 12.000 people, close to the highway and big city (Antwerp), in a small street with a dead end and about 5 minutes walking from the town centre.
Not that I would ever live in this town, but I gotta hand it to my parents: they found a good location. Also, kudos to you for building a house. I'd be too chickenshit for that (paying off the thing...).
