What do you recommend?
So...what old (and i mean old, say before 1995-old) PC-games do you guys recommend?
I'll start with Castle of the winds, Solar Winds (kinda like Wing commander in 2d ), Civ (ofcourse), Elder scrolls: Arena, the Duke Nukem 1&2 platform games, Eye of the beholder series, Curse of monkey island, X-com. Hmm that's a good list already.
And i didn't even mention Doom and Wolf, which are so very duh. Mebbe i'll think of some other games later...

Transport Tycoon Deluxe!
I believe it is from 1995 so it's old. And it's a great game (I'm still addicted to it).

Haha, as it is Inqui, i bought a budget version of JA2 a week ago. Only 2.5€, too sweet to NOT buy it. (that's about 2 dollar i guess) So i'll be replaying it soon. I'll have a check on TTD then Arathorn..i usually like them transport sims, e.g. i had a blast with traffic giant, so this should be good then too.

It's the best transport sim ever. espescially with The Patch, a handy program that adds loads of new stuff. Plus you need it to play on Win XP.

Quarantine. Nice game, hard to get. Also if you are really bored, try Syndicate Wars.

Yea there are sounds. Search the net, im sure there are some updates that allow you to use newer soundcards with TT.
Oh, and you might want to try Avernum3. Its an extremely long game.

The sound often has problems. Did you have Transport Tycoon or Transport Tycoon Deluxe?
You can try the windows version of Transport Tycoon Deluxe. For me that works. And I'm still addicted.
Espescially with that patch I wrote about. It's still worked on and there's a new feature about every two weeks (and sometimes even more often).
