Nope, but good to know. Pretty random post though.

Dude, he's a freaking Cyborg from the 16th century. That's cool! how about a bat mobile with a real turbine engine? http://www.engadget.com/2011/07/14/man- ... ng-the-onl

Re: Cool Stuff
Hmm, I wonder if it could really open up? Or does a turbine that wouldn't demolish the car have limited power potential?

Re: Cool Stuff
man, I have no idea how you even power a car with a turbine... so your guess is as good as mine. hell, if you can explain how it even works, that'd be cool. Cool stuff: A Star Wars game played on a huge wall of touch screens. http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2011/07/f ... star-wars/

Re: Cool Stuff
Well I'd guess that it literally works the same as an aeroplane on a runway, but I'd say gas rather than fuel. I'm just thinking that the right size turbine could easily give out thousands of pounds worth of forward thrust - but would a car be able to handle it? *checks out your video*
Man... that'd be an awesome attraction at a public convention! They'd need to whack a few more machines in to keep up the frame rate though!

Re: Cool Stuff
oh, so you think it just uses the thrust from the engine to propel? Makes sense. I figured they'd somehow rigged it up to transfer the power to the wheels, which just made my eyes cross thinking about it. Agreed on the star wars game... that thing seems to be choking. Put in an overclocked i7 with 4 ATI cards in SLI and I'm sure it'll be fine.

Re: Cool Stuff
I was doing some research on one-armed pushups and came across this video. This dude is freaking strong.

Re: Cool Stuff
Funny thing is that for all his strength, he's still doing gymnastics among a bunch of 12-yr old girls. It's like a gay colleague I used to have: he was a total gym nut (stereotype confirmation yay!) and a good bit taller than me. Much stronger too. But he was still kind of a pansy regardless...I don't think he'd ever throw a punch, even when attacked. Sorry for my neanderthal "I COULD TAKE HIM" reflex comment. Can't help it. Even if I probably couldn't, I'm still gonna say it.

Re: Cool Stuff
Quite a genius little title http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/575508It's a game where you have to trap little monsters by moving around the space that they exist in, it's a bit of a mind fuck at first but quite a fun puzzler once you figure it out This being said, I'm stuck on a level called "The Squeeze", Par is 2 moves... [EDIT] Got it lol

Re: Cool Stuff
fun little game, actually. The toughest plane ever built: http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2011/ ... lane-ever/Basically about the B17 and all the crazy damage it was able to suffer, but still land afterwards.

Re: Cool Stuff
Shit be impressive. Reminds me of the Ohio, an American tanker that made it to Malta (British colony) to resupply the island surrounded by Axis. It was a strategically important island to connect to the British colonies in Egypt etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_Ohio Probably told you about it on a drunk steam chat. I know you guys aren't cycling fangs, but here's a selection of positively gorgeous pics from the Tour. Just as appealing to photography buffs as cycling fans. http://www.theatlantic.com/infocus/2011 ... -1/100105/http://www.theatlantic.com/infocus/2011 ... -2/100114/

Re: Cool Stuff
cycling fangs? Did Ox just concatenate "fan" and "fag"? Or is it a vampire reference?
