I downloaded and installed Coal'd Blood. :) I'll download the rest later.

I forgot Satis and Shiny can't make Friday evening unless we play really late. :P So, Saturday it is.

20h my time (CET)
19h derf's time (GMT)
13h Texas time

Sound about right?

Yeah man your ping was just crap. Shame you had to quit. I hope it gets sorted.

We had an awesome session on No Mercy (expert). Me ox and O'Cram really owned hard. For instance, I didn't die once! Which is a big achievement for me. The finale was just clockwork. We defended the stairs and dealt with the tank like pros. There were never really any OMFG-im-gonna-die moments. Well, i fell off the helipad at the end, but managed to toss my pipe which soon exploded and made quite a mess but it was worth it.

Loved that session. :) Peltz needs a personal T3 line to Antwerp so we can sort out his ping!

Our Coal'd Blood campaign on the weekend went well, if a little...uneven. More the modmaker's fault than our own really. I mean, we were all over the place and not really working together as a team, but still. The middle part of the campaign was diabolical, the more with the lack of medkits in the saferooms, and the finale was pretty aclimatic and 'easy'. Poor Shiny got torn to shreds on the heli platform! We threw her some roses as we took off into the sky.

All in all, as much as I enjoy these custom campaigns, I do yearn for more official stuff. The difference in polish is pretty big, I felt that even more when doing that No Mercy run with Derf and O'Cram. But Crash Course should be around the corner, so that's another weekend filled before L4D2. ;) And there's bound to be a few custom campaigns appearing that do (almost) reach Valve quality level!

Yeah, twas pretty good. I did notice that throughout the campaign there were some odd parts. One example was when we were fighting the horde in a corner near some pipes. A couple of zombies managed to climb up onto the pipes and come up behind us. I think that caused us to fail that time cos I remember Shiny dead, Satis incapped, me incapped and Rinox trying to melee his way to surival and at the same time, trying to understand what the fuck was going on.

Then there was that other time where we were fighting the horde and at one point I just got up and basically attacked the horde spawns head on. It just felt a tad weird and out of place. They were all coming from one direction, so I thought... given what I know about the mechanics... why not?

And yeah, there was definitely not much bonding going on. Perhaps mostly thanks to me storming ahead. I don't think it was that hard a campaign. It was VERY open so we were more prone to spreading, thats all.

hear ya about the pipes Derf, was a bit lame. It was a good spot and theoretically the only safe-ish place in the room (vents everywhere else), but then some zombies end up behind us in a very wtf moment. :( And on expert that 's lethal, with them doing 10-20 damage a blow.

I propose we play night terror this weekend.

You got that one uploaded Satis? If so, might want to check if it's the latest version (been updated). Saturday? Can't make Friday.

Are you ever going to choose a map I actually already have, you bastard?

for the over-eager, it's uploading now (8:30am at GMT -6). It should be done in 10 minutes.
*edit*
upload done. It's the last link for the reading impaired.
/me wonders if anyone will notice me leaving a text note for the reading impaired

Wouldn't the reading impaired fail to read your note for the reading impaired as well?

And lol @ your maps. Sorry :P I just go to the L4D campaigns hub and rank them all according to rating, and pick the ones that look best to me. But I'm beginning to backtrack a bit on Night Terror, seeing as it's listed as still being polished. Maybe we should take one of the finished campaigns instead.

What say we play Dead City instead? And 7 hours later looks good for next time.

Saturday, 19h my time? 18h derf, 12h Satis and Shiny.
