Well, that was fun. Nevermind that the unmanned air balloon at the end was a bit freaky. But the whole hugeness of the final map and the having to fight a way down was pretty freaking sexy.

Oh and the level inside the cargo ship was pretty epic. Loved that. Overall, if the quality of other user-made campaigns coming out will be anywhere this good we're in for a treat. Some things set it apart from the official campaigns, like a sub-otpimal spread of horde spawn points and special infected, but other than that: great stuff.

Sometime next week = expert time. Maybe I'll make it out without getting pwned by a tank this time. I doubt it.

Yep, that session went down as a win in my books. Awesome fun. Well made campaign. Obviously not the same amount of polish as something from Valve, but it achieved everything I was expecting, which was extended L4D playability with a slightly different flavour.

yea, that was fun. I'm definitely up for another try, though my blue screening is a bit annoying. Ripped and reinstalled my graphics driver but I've already had a blue screen since. Damn I hate that.

New DLC coming for L4D! Free on pc, 7 bucks for consolez0rs.

Apparently it's mainly aimed towards the versus game mode, but will also be playable in co-op campaign mode. It'll bridge between No Mercy and Death Toll.

From what they say about it it'll be a lot shorter than the original campaigns, but hell, I don't care. More L4D makes Ox a happy camper.

On a sidenote: I do find it slightly disturbing that a game that features 3 dudes and 1 somewhat attractive girl is automatically raised to internet porn parody status all over the board. What does that say about gamers? I mean, I could understand it if it was something ridiculous like Dead or Alive or Tomb Raider or whatnot where 70% of the appeal of the game comes from boobies and their owners, but L4D?

P.S. Playing with you guys last weekend was a little disturbing when you took over from Shiny, playing as Zoey and named 'shiny'. I swear that I got so used to shiny being Zoey and you Louis when you're both playing that it started playing tricks on my mind. Especially when zoey started playing very differently (not necessarily better, ya FF ho hehehehe)

Yeah it threw me too. I had a couple of meaty FF moments that day, especially against Zoey. Kinda glad we didn't get to the end stats

Oh and I dabbled a little bit with O'cram last night. I tried to use the old rush tactic where you leave everyone behind as they try to fight the hordes while you practically run to the safe zone. Doesn't happen anymore. I reckon they changed the behaviour cos I was getting hit by specials as soon as I was alone.

One thing I liked about last game was when me and Satis were all alone, Satis nearly dead and both out of bullets. Then finding the bullet stash and rescuing your ass. Good times.

Unless you guys want to complete the finale of Death Aboard on expert by all means, I suggest we try 'Dam It!' next time. It's not a campaign but one very large map with several panic events and a finale, and is supposed to be very good. It's set by a dam, if that wasn't clear from the title. I won't play it just to not ruin the surprise.
