Heh; want to make sure you can devote all your attention aye?
Just read the review of Quake IV in my mag...86% (90-95% are the top scores), so awesome but not super-1337-brilliant. They say it's still the best fast-paced shooter around, but that there's a lack of innovation in both the SP and MP. Sounds about like what we all expected.
Btw, Quake IV will (finally) replace Painkiller in the CPL (Cyberathlete Professional League) world tour. Go for it man, try to qualify for one of the main events in the US. Those guys make cash with gaming hard...dang.
P.S. Too many good games coming out...QIV, CoD 2, Barbarian Invasion, Football manager 2006, F.E.AR., Civilization IV...and then we didn't even see a release date for Oblivion yet.

@ Arathorn. What i find equally moronic is that when you discover a new civic, it asks you if you want to adopt it straight away without giving you the chance to see what its all about.
Yeh i found the Civopaedia is only useful for finding details on resources. That too! Resources are still woefully neglected.
Did you get to the stage where UN Resolutions start to pop up? Man i fucking hate that shit. I was #1 for many years yet Roosevelt ALWAYS won the elections. I had no chance every time. Worse still, the Resoltions always failed!
No i didnt play Centauri. I was hooked on CivII, then moved onto Baldurs Gate and missed the while Centuari thing.
Can i emphasise again the fact that Civ4 has dumbed down? You no longer need to keep an eye on things.
@ Satis. Im starting to get the impression that game-review writers are video-game geeks that eat up hype, digest only the tasty outer-shells and crap out bullshit.
