Not too bad mate compared to me. In my AS I got C in Politics, D in Computing and C in Business. Are you going to drop one of your 4 A levels?

The order of the numbers is pretty obvious yeah, but i was thinking that from D on you failed as well. Or is that just the American system? Or did i not pay enough attention when watching american highschool series?

No i don`t watch those, but my knowledge about these things comes from series and movies. Saved by the bell and Beverly Hills 90210 (i watched them 10 years ago or more so shut up :p) for instance.
Could be i picked something up from That 70`s Show too, but that`s a good tv-show, they aren`t showing it anymore now though.

yea, US letter grades a A, B, C, D and F. No e for some reason. F is fail. D is basically a fail. Once you hit college, though, it's all about the GPA.

grade point average. It's on a scale from (I think) 0 to 4.0. 4.0 = 100%. 3.0 is like a B or something. I forget. Anyway, your GPA is the determining factor if you get grants/scholarships, etc.

Aight...don't you get scholarships according to your financial situation, too? It would suck to have to get good grades in order to make it into college.

for white males like myself, it's all about the grades. Financial situation doesn't mean a whole.
For minorities, on the other hand, they get a free ride a whole lot easier than me. Yay, go equality. One of the reasons I'm so bitter. Some moron who happens to be black (or red, or yellow, or orange, or green) gets to go to college forever, for free, while I bust my ass in a full time job to make ends meet and can't barely go to college at all. Despite the fact I'm twice as smart as him, and three times as sexy.
