She isn't really pretty nope. As long as she does her cool sluttish lords-act, then who the fuck care anyway aye. If the 'slutty' thing got misunderstood in the previous post, it was meant as a compliment. I'm not a fan of their music, but then again, i haven't been at any of their live shows either, and that's where they're supposed to kick bucketloads of ass. Like you just confirmed lol.

Mmmm Pantera. God I dig Phil. Anywho, yeah, Lords of Acid rock. I remember going to clubs and begging the dj's tp play their music. It was funny most of the people in the dance club looked confused. Meow.

Hehe...looks like the "got a big following in the US" thing wasn't wrong, with 3 of 4 Americans on this board both know and love the Lords. Pretty neat. Any of you guys (and gals) a fan of their other group as well? I mean Pragha Khan.

Pragha Khan is ok. I'm much more a Lords fan, though. I think I have on of the Pragha CDs, but it not as good IMO.

Mm, k. If any of you three would like something special (a vinyl, whatever) from LOA that you can't find in the US or summit, don't hesitate to ask. And to send me money, obviously. But i don't think it'll be necessary alltogether, with LOA's huge underground fanbase in the US they're bound to be selling the same products there, maybe even more of them.

Thisis Deborah Ostrega btw, the lead singer/slut from Lords of Acid for those that don't know her. I think her career in the spotlights started as a girl in the 'Wheel of Fortune' show, she was the one that had to turn the letters you know. She sure came a long way.

WTF? She didn't start with 'Wheel of Fortune'! That was Vanna White. Freaks.
huh...she wasn't that pretty when I saw her in concert. In fact, she was a bit..ermm...wide.

Yeah i think she did put some weight on, she's been in miss belgium final (1996) as well, can't reach that with some love-handles.
I might have confused you Satis, i meant she starred in the belgian version of 'wheel of fortune', "Het Rad van Fortuin".

Mm,I had a dream last night in which I did Deborah Ostrega in the toilets of some randome bar. I blame this topic. hehe
She did a lot of stuff before becoming the singer of LOA, acting in awful soaps, presenting the top 50 on tv and whatnot. Didn't even remember that she was in wheel of fortune.

Just thought i'd share, i'm very fond of this song
Chelsea Hotel #2
I remember you
well in the Chelsea Hotel,
you were talking so brave and so sweet,
giving me head on the unmade bed,
while the limousines wait in the street.
Those were the reasons and that was New York,
we were running for the money and the flesh.
And that was called love for the workers in song
probably still is for those of them left.
Ah but you got away, didn't you babe,
you just turned your back on the crowd,
you got away, I never once heard you say,
I need you, I don't need you,
I need you, I don't need you
and all of that jiving around.
I remember you well in the Chelsea Hotel
you were famous, your heart was a legend.
You told me again you preferred handsome men
but for me you would make an exception.
And clenching your fist for the ones like us
who are oppressed by the figures of beauty,
you fixed yourself, you said, "Well never mind,
we are ugly but we have the music."
And then you got away, didn't you babe...
I don't mean to suggest that I loved you the best,
I can't keep track of each fallen robin.
I remember you well in the Chelsea Hotel,
that's all, I don't even think of you that often.

Have you seen that video? I always laugh my ass of with Beastie Boys videos, but they're hardly on tv.
The new album (To the 5 Boroughs) is quite good, but I was still a little disappointed, it isn't as good as Hello Nasty.
