Spyware
Damned bloody spyware, bad cookies everything.
I just wanna know is there a Decent free spyware removal thing? i've used ad-aware, and that does an ok job, and i've use spyhunter, and thats not bad either except to get it auto remove you have to pay. Today, it took me since about 11 (when i woke up) till now (3:16) to get all the damned stuff of my computer. I had to use each one a few times one then the other to get all the things off. Thats just stupid. Any Ideas? oooh, also while your at it, a free pop up blocker, that doesn't require buying it after a certain amount of days?

Stop browsing for porn so much.
Add Aware is good yeah, so why are you looking for another one?
As a pop-up blocker I use MyIE2, it's actually a lot more and I like it. You can find it at www.myie2.com
It asks for a donation when you start it, but you can switch that off.

Yeah, that scumware is really getting to be a problem! I maintain the network for a small insurance company in Dallas and regularly scan for that stuff. What a waste of my time!
I've tried 4 products and am now down to using just 2. Adaware and Spybot. Both of these running together work great!
I've also tried Spy Sweeper and Pest Patrol. Both of these programs are cool looking as far as the GUI but Adaware and Spybot simply do a better job. Also, the latter 2 are not free. Hey, I dont care if they cost anything or not. I just want the one (or 2) that work the best.
Spy Sweeper website: www.webroot.com
Spybot website: www.safer-networking.org
Pest Patrol website: www.pestpatrol.com
Adaware website: www.lavasoftusa.com
You can also get all of these at Download.com
BTW here are the number of downloads for each of these from the Download website.
spy sweeper 1,965,680
Spybot 19,428,625
Adaware 43,727,964
Pest Patrol 626,286
Sometimes the numbers tell it all!

heh...I like spybot search and destroy. Mentioned above by Manuel. Hey, do I know you? Cisco maybe?
As far as popup blockers, I hear the google toolbar does the job. Personally, I use 'pop-up stopper' which is at panicware.com. There's a free version, which is what I have.

well mole, until they finish the mind reading utility for that software, I think your kind of stuck. I used both panic ware and google, and found google to be better. Panic ware missed more of the pop ups (no idea why), and google allows you to disable the pop up stopper for a given site with one button click. When I used panic ware, this was not possible.

indeed, that is a limitation of popup stopper. I deal with it... I just doubleclick on the popup stopper icon. Personally I hate IE toolbars, so the google bar is a no go. Google's my homepage anyway, so I just hit ctrl-home when I want to search, rather than use some space-hogging toolbar.
Anyway, it's all personal preference.
