Has anyone ever seen any of these? Im not sure if they aired in Europe. I just bought the first season DVD and it blows the Simpson's away.

Yeah it's pretty good. Dunno if it's here on air, i've seen several episodes on computer since i knew a lot of 'family guy freaks', they really were huge fans.

Just checked: they used to give it on kanaal2 around 5 pm but not anymore appearantly

They don't make it any more, it was only over here on sky, not enough people watched it so it got axed, same thing has happened to futurama.

Its pretty funny every now and again, i'm not a massive fan though, nowhere near as good as the simpsons or futurama (well futurama before the little kids showed up, then it just sucked)

I love that program, got series one on DVD. I don't think it's better than the simpsons over all, but i'd say that there funny ration (eg amount of laugh's per episode) is higher in Family guy. If you get what i mean. erh... 3 eppisodes, family guy gets one laugh per each one, where simpson might only get 2 out of three.

Anyway, I think futurama is funnier than simspons, because it's more slapstick humour i guess, it's less thinking.

I think it's ok. I especially like Stevie, but that goes for everyone I think.

Maybe I think its better than the Simpson's because the humor is different. I never laugh so hard I cryed while watching the Simpson.

there are some immensly funny bits in Family Guy, it's just so random, still no one's as cool as Homer though


i watched an epsiode of Family Guy last night, it was one where Peter and the daughter (forgot her name) crashed into the TV Satellite Dish for the entire town and Stewie created a weather changing device so he could destroy broccoli, the funniest line from that episode was when Stewie said this:
forcast for tomorrow: a few sprinkles of genius with a chance of doom

made me laugh so bad

There is one epsiode where its Stewie's birthday, and Peter leads a circus parade to his backyard. Peter is sitting on an elephant and yells to Louis his wife, "Hey look hunny, it the 2 symbols of the republican party, an elephant and a big fat white guy who is threaten by change"

Although Im a republican I laughed my ass off.

hehe. I think one stewies best lines is when (one of the many times) he tries to kill his mom, i think with a bow and arrow? And she says "Stewy... why don't you go play with your toys in the living room" and he snaps "why dont you burn in hell?!"

i think it was actually on in england either on BBC2 or channel 4 briefly coz i remember seeing it before i ever met Mole, but only a couple of episodes. I also wouldn't say its better than the simpsons, but it is damn good.
