I pop up every now and again in conversation, however I read the forums every couple of days at least... just don't post unless I have time or actually care to argue, etc.

I vote for more Shiny on the board. Anyway, i'd like to point something out here, namely the mis-use of the word "liberal". It might be that "liberal" views in the US are traditionally linked to leftist ones, but that doesn't make them one and the same thing. In a "standard" multi-party system it would look something like this:
LEFT
->far-left :communists
->left: socialists
->leftish: green party, environmentalists at large
CENTRAL
->christian-democrats
RIGHT
->rightish: seperatist parties etc., not as common in every country tho
->right: liberal!
->far-right: fascists
So, "liberal" is a way of thinking, which is not pinned down to right or left, as the difference of orientation shows. So much for the educational half-hour, heh.
P.S. and yes, i don't believe in left or right, cos the world is anything but a collection of clearly cut distinctions, but it would have taken me hours to explain this without that cool table i made.

actually you are correct hun, but in America at least the media rules the stupid, and the stupid are just that. So yes, I am a libertarian, at least as closely to anything else, and people automatically think liberal which in fact if you think about it is not so... I do not believe in hand outs to people, etc. I just don't think people have the right to tell me what to think or what I can and can not do. (I'm drunk just in case you wondered about the sentence structure, content, spelling, etc.) Ok so, it is funny because you can nalways do what you want it is just the consequenses you have to deal with if you do them. Am I right? But see hell for me would be to take all the poeple that are not smart enough to get away with crime and put me with them IE prison, especially with some fucking religious groups always trying to save me from satan (luvs ya satis) anyways... so I should rule..... don't you like drunkin run on rambles? I'm cute, luv me! haha. Luvs most of you!
Hey Ox! I gots a cute friend if you ever decide to come visit some gun tote'in crazy Texans.

Haha, I'll take you up on that offer if i ever am in Texas, though i don't think it'll be anytime soon. Drunken ramblings rock very much, and unlike me you seem to be able to decently work a keyboard while drunk, heh. And yes, there seems to be that tendency to equate a critical stance on the government/nation's actions with an utterly "left" pov. Which is crap, obviously, blah. That must suck for you. You'll always have morons that will lay those views on ya in one way or another, you can only hope that there are not too many of them.
