The hardest part about chemistry is staying awake in the class...

I'm good at it and understand it but I need to remember little facts in exact detail like the catalyst for certain reactions, annoying. Computing is worse

No way. I mean, I know every one finds different subjects etc harder/easier, but computing wasn't hard, While I was in the class, I understood what the teacher was saying, but I just coulnd't remember it for next time

yeah computing is easy, purely cause it's so logical, unlike say English literature, which is pure bullshit...

Thats because Coomputing is a "Science" and English is an "Art".

Some would call programming an art. But of course that's not what you're talking about. I liked Chemistry alot in high school, did real well, took an advance placement class and everything. Then failed it miserably when I got to college.
I've always passed my computer courses (I think).

I messed up big time in A level computing, I just lost interest in education and so put no effort in. Well i say that, but then i did spend a good month revising for the exams, and learned a li'l more about it, and also at the coursework deadline being a week or so away, i set out and worked really hard at it, but unusually I started working well into over a month before the deadline! omg! lol.
Twas a funny day on deadline day though. The printer fucked up real bad and started eating the paper... then the paper ran out. so i had to Sprint all the way in to town (about 15 minutes walking, about 5 minutes at the speed I'd normally run, and 2 minutes at the speed i was going, all downhill) get some paper, the only shop i could find was the kind that sells high quality as apposed to bulk, then i had to run back, (up hill) and then will the printer to print fast, and then run to school. Something which would normally take me an hour, took only 20 minutes.... (the whole thing, not just the school run)
The reason for the above was because i thought i had untill 3:15 to hand in the coursework, then my mate phoned me at about.... 12:45 telling me it was only a half day at school. Boom boom. So i had only untill 2 at the latest (in order to catch the teachers) Joy. Moan over.

lol mate. There was a few of our guys in my class that pulled one of them. I think its pretty common that A level students leave their coursework until 2 weeks before the deadline. I didnt. I did Analysis in October, didnt touch it for 4 months then finished it off calmly in the last 2 months.

coursework deadlines? dont think i ever started a coursework more than a week before it was due in. and this year there have been so many that i started on the day it was due. I remember back in November I was helping out on an open day from half 12 til half 1, then got a free lunch with the tutors, one of which was our Networks tutor, then rushed off to do the Networks essay that was due in at half 4 and finished it in half hour. I blame my dad. he's the same.

I hear ya pevil, i bet it's in the genes. My dad is awfull in planning such stuff (or is it plain laziness maybe) and i'm just the same.
Probably my worst story about this: we had to form an opinion about anything and defend it in front of the class (when i was 16 or so). Laziness struck again, so i went to school, made up something at the spot and talked 5 or 10 minutes about it, improvising like hell. Next day we had to hand in the written part, so that evening i had to try to remember what i had said and write it down.
