lol yeah as far as im aware you basically have a net on the end of ya stick and throw the ball to other people. but never played/seen played so wouldn't have a clue. My only knowledge comes from knowing what polocrosse is. (a cross between lacrosse and polo) lol

cool, thanks guys. Sounds like a mighty sissy sport to me, fighting with sticks. Knowing NFL and such, they're prolly also wearing full body armor too.

Lacrosse is supposedly a mix between hockey and American football. And yes, you were armor or whatever, but less than in hockey. So basically it's a warm, more violent version of hockey.

Hehe....k. Over here, hockey is an elitarian sport, mostly played by rich Frenchs-speaking families. Kinda strange to imagine that in combination with american football. But, as with everything that i don't play (yet): it's gay!

Really? Hockey here is one of the more violent sports. People smacking each other around with sticks, it seems like every game there's a fist fight on the ice with someone spitting teeth and blood... sounds a bit removed from your French thing. I can't imagine the French getting violent (except to beat their wives, maybe).

lol, the French are your typical wusses: a lot of talk and noise, but when it gets to fighting they're the first to wuss out. Erh, anyway, i meant "regular" hockey tho, not ice hockey. I know ice hockey is pretty violent lol. Over ehre they abrely play it tho, not enough money/place to build ice hockey stadiums.

What's 'regular' hockey? Regular hockey to me is ice hockey... then there's 'street hockey' which is what kids play (in the street, where they can get run over).

lol 'regular' hockey is just ice hockey, but on an artificial pitch with a ball instead of a puck. and yep, its still violent. man the bruises i used to walk away with. and the cuts on the shin where someone tackled and 'accidentally' got your leg. not that i was ever as bad...*whistles*

Pfft, all talk pev *winks*
And yeah, it's 'regular' because we just say "hockey" for it, where as ice hockey, is just that. Ice hockey.
thats about the best bit of hockey, (both types) the fights. The rest of it is fun to play crap to watch.
