Re: Baldur's Gate 3
I tried not to read to much in this topic to avoid unwanted spoilers. It will probably take me a full year to finish this game.

Re: Baldur's Gate 3
Well i was planning to finish Act 1 today (reached the crèche, appearantly that's part of Act 1 as well?). But then my plans got hit by a huge update ... so now i'm waiting. Actually even working instead of playing. Bah.

Re: Baldur's Gate 3
Small update: i finally managed to crawl my way into Act II. At this rate it's going to take forever.
Used Withers (or something) for a minor change: from 2-handed to wielding 2 weapons at the same time. Much cooler to swing 2 axes of warhammers, no? Might change my mind again about this later, but i wanted to use the Blood of Lathander for now.

Re: Baldur's Gate 3
Congrats! Act 2 is a bit more condensed than Act 1, but still pretty beefy. This is where you'll run into some of the toughest fights in the game (imo). Axe and shield is always the way to go for me, but then I'm a dwarf.

Re: Baldur's Gate 3
Small update again:
I'm a dwarf as well btw, not sure if i like the two-weapon style now. I don't get the idea i'm dealing a lot of extra damage compared to one-handed. We'll see how things develop.
I've had some fun fights, sometimes i got oneshotted at occasions , one fight i reloaded even though i ended up victorious.

Re: Baldur's Gate 3
Two months later, haven't been able to play much. Running around in the city, running into new quests constantly ... at this rate it's really going to be 2025 before i finish it!
On a side note: I chopped our dear friend Raphael to pieces, he got what he deserved!

Re: Baldur's Gate 3
I may be playing again in a few weeks. Niall's physical edition for PS5 finally showed up a week ago but I currently have Mum staying for 2 weeks so I'm not gaming. Hopefully we will be playing side by side soon (but not together since crossplay is still being worked on).

Re: Baldur's Gate 3
I did not yet, though I did say to Niall just this morning we need to get on with it. But he has no room to fit it on his PS5 right now so he wants to get Midnight Suns finished first and uninstall that. I may say screw him and just get back to it myself at this rate. ...but then again I'm still playing Palworld and Ark and Diablo IV and WoW and UO and Istaria and Assassin's Creed Mirage and probably a bunch of others I forgot...

Damn. Even J is further along than me. I'll go back to the game eventually. Probably.
