Randomly flicking through YouTube as you do. Found this guy. If you like acapella he's amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyuNwG42N9I

Re: Music
Pretty good! Reminds me a bit of the music in Bloodlines (the game), although that was a bit more gothic and less hiphop.

Re: Music
Oh man, I forgot how good this music was. I really dig both of those.
The first reminds me of a song I can't place... ugh. The second is strongly reminiscent of Front 242.

Re: Music
Hah, Front 242, now there's a blast from the past! Hard to believe they're from Belgium. I can see what you mean when you say it sounds very similar...I think that was a very popular sound in the late 90s/early 00s.

Re: Music
Was in a eurovision mood today and remembered this song from last year...not exactly your typical Eurovision song. I think it got third place or something? Pretty impressive performance for an Icelandic singing neo-industrial S&M elektro band. Or whatever this is haha. Great show and song in any case. These guys also managed to fly a Palestinian flag during the live show (it was set in Israel). Regardless of how you feel about the conflict, takes some balls to do that while you're over there. I personally feel like they still shouldn't have done it since Eurovision isn't a platform for political messages, but it is what is now I guess.

Re: Music
lol... had to google that one because (shocked) blocked in my country, but did find it. Kind of funny... I wouldn't call it good, but it had some potential. Definitely a pretty serious S&M vibe, though. Not such a fan of the political statement, but meh, whatever. Good for them.

Re: Music
I just love that this sort of band ends up participating in the Eurovision preliminary rounds in their home country (as a joke, according to them) and then end up singing weirdly political S&M industrial punk in Icelandic on a world stage. I mean, that's a language and country of 300k people. And as sanitized as Eurovision is, it's also live, so there's always some wiggle room for shenanigans.

Re: Music
Here's some dubstep French rap. I really dig this song, actually. Ganja White Night is toward the top of my list of good dubstep lately.

Re: Music
Both great songs guys. Wasn't sure about Satis' one at first but then it really developed into something cool. As for Peltz' one, I like the Kate Bush original already so this was a nice variation on it! Not really music, but I read about the Shepard tone a few days ago and figured I'd share...it creates an illusion of an ever rising sound by overlapping several notes over and over again. It's neat.

Re: Music
A coworker of mine recently introduced me to this. I actually really like it.
