Just watched the trailer for it, and it does look great! Definitely going to watch it.

Speaking of nazis in popular media, have you seen all seasons of The Man in the High Castle? The ending was a bit...meh. But it was still good television. And Rufus Sewell is amazing as John Smith, of course. But I think more than the story I really liked the world building, their vision of what a triumphant nazi empire could look like was executed really well.

Chris Hemsworths 'Extraction' is actually really good action film. I was totally surprised. Netflix.

What's it about Peltz?

Been catching up on The Expanse (I stopped watching halfway season 3 when I moved). Still really solid scifi drama. Apparently season 4 was released in the meantime so sweeeet. I feel sorry for all those people who watch most TV shows that come out when they do, who's laughing now aye!

It's about rescuing some hindu boy. Completely irrelevant. It's an action movie and a really good one at that.

Haha okay. I just signed up for Netflix (only 10 years after everyone else) and I saw it's on there. Will give it a try soon.

I gave up on Man in the High Castle partway through season 3 I think. I dunno, just kind of boring and repetitive to me. Obviously just my opinion.

Recently finished watching the most recent (and final) season of Star Wars: Clone Wars. Oh man, it was amazing. But you may have to be a Star Wars psycho like Shiny and I to really dig it. Oh man... so good.

Also recently finished Westworld's latest season. It wasn't bad. There was some negative press about the ending, but I don't agree. It wasn't super-amazing, but it was pretty good in my opinion.

Watched Guns Akimbo (movie) fairly recently. The start is Daniel Radcliffe... aka Harry Potter. It's a decent action flick... very over the top, more like a video game then anything. Don't expect too much and you may enjoy it (I did).

Also watched Midway. It was fine. Nothing spectacular.

And... Jumanji, the Next Level. Again... fine. Amusing, but not something you should drop everything to watch.

You're not wrong about The Man in the High Castle Satis. Season 4 is actually pretty strong imo, but it's definitely not 'much watch' TV. For me the combination of being a Philip K. Dick fan, loving the artistic direction of the show and the acting of Rufus Sewell (John Smith) was enough to keep me watching. Even if I disliked the actress playing the main character Julianna Crane quit a bit.

So I'm a Netflix boy now and suffering from a degree of choice paralysis. Every time I log on I'm like 'well this looks good...and so does this...and I really would like to see that movie...mmm" and I end up just sifting through series and movies for a longer time than I spend actually watching any. I need to get with the times and just endlessly binge stuff, clearly.

When in doubt you can always watch the documentaries about the lives of porn stars.

Shiny and I tore threw the second season of Altered Carbon recently. Still good stuff (mostly). Also binged the second season of Castlevania. Also good, though this one was really more about setting stuff up for the future than wrapping anything up. *shrug* Recently we started watching Kingdom, which is about a zombie apocalypse in medieval japan. Only watched the first episode, but it's decent so far.

I watched Tiger King and it was gooood. I mean it was clearly edited for maximum effect but the whole concept and all the characters were just....wow. There's some crazy people and scenes in this world!

I started watching Start Trek: The Next Generation from scratch. Yes, the old series with Picard.

I have seen may episodes here and there on TV over the years but never really followed the show, and a friend recommended it. It's on Netflix so eh...might as well. It's cheesy and stilted but actually quite fun too. Maybe I'm just creating a nostalgia security blanket for myself, I don't know.

Recently started watching Crossing Swords (a Hulu show). It's a really raunchy/adult show in the vein of Robot Chicken. Funny stuff.
