Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
Thx for the head's up. Another game added to my library of "games i'll probably never end up playing" I didn't even remember adding starpoint gemini 2 (see Peltz' post)

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
Yea. Not so excited about this one. I have enough games to play. The discounts on games I'm interested in aren't enough to get me exited.

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
Yeah, most of the "big" games I was interested in aren't that cheap...so I stuck to a few smaller ones. My loot: - Deadly Premonition - Day of the Tentacle remastered - Stasis - Stories Untold - Expansion to Pillars of Eternity Most of these were less than 5 euros, so no biggie. Only agonized a bit over the PoE expansion, as it was still 15 euro. Felt it should have been more like 7.5 now. Seems like I'm gravitating to more thriller/horror/story-based stuff lately...stuff I can play while hanging back and sipping a beer.

For anyone with a GOG.com account: Jotun is free this weekend. It's supposed to be a really nice game (according to a friend), so might be good to pick it up. Even if it will sit in your library forever, it'll only cost you a minute to get it. https://www.gog.com/game/jotun

The humble bundle store has Shadow Warrior for free for the next day and change. If you haven't played it, it's definitely worth free.

Oh yeah, it's a wonderful game! I already own it, but I can heartily recommend it to everyone who hasn't played it yet. Great gameplay, glorious carange, and just general a fun vibe. Trailer should get you pumped already:

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
Shit I missed it. Oh well...it's not like I don't have any other games to play haha. *looks at Steam backlog* 30 games remaining in my "to play" list...may skip a few of them, but still. At least I'm being a good boy and not buying new games (apart from the 1 euro humble bundle game here and there). Unless I see a really good deal for a game I really am looking forward to, I probably won't be buying anything new until the Christmas sale. Although the Halloween sale usually has discounts on horror games, and I do like those...so we'll see how strong my resolve will be.

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
if I didn't have so many games already I might have considered it...also installing Uplay is a bit of a big step hahaha. I got an email today from Blizzard saying I could have the Heart of the Swarm expansion for Starcraft 2 for free as a gift if I downloaded the battlenet app. Unfortunately i forgot my battlenet password and don't know where my SC2 key disappeared to, so no freebie for me. Too bad, I was actually interested in it and I'm not paying again for SC2, Blizzard prices never drop. But maybe one of you guys gets the same offer so check your spamboxes.
