Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
By the Steam Winter sale? There's some good stuff in there. I picked up Audio Surf 2 and Mad Max. I may pick up Doom as well.

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
I do understand Peltz' point, the Steam christmas sale has become decidedly less impressive in recent years. I mean 4 years ago it was 80% discounts all over the place, now you're lucky to see a 40% one for a game that's more than a year old. Having said that, it's probably a consequence of Valve and the publishers better understanding the impact of the sales. And the sales are still pretty great, just not as great as they used to be. So maybe we shouldn't complain too much. I'm gonna set aside a budget for myself and go on a Steam sale raid later today.

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
Mine was 100€ and the total was 100,21€:
Just Cause 3 - 12,49€ The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition - 29,99€ Pillars of Eternity - Hero Edition - 16,79€ Pillars of Eternity - The White March Expansion Pass - 14,39€ Stellaris - Nova Edition - 19,99€ Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel - 4,44€ Tales from the Borderlands - 2,12€
I was thinking about FO4 but i decided to wait for the GOTY edition. Next summer sale will most likely include xcom2, Deus Ex mankind divided, Farcry 4 or 5, gta 5.

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
Nice haul Good selection of games there. I'm a bit down on cash due to various costs I've made this month so I kept it at 42 euros Binding of Isaac rebirth + afterbirth (14 euro) Life is Strange season 1 (5 euro) Invisible Inc (6 euro) This War of Mine (4 euro) Tales from the Borderlands season 1 (6 euro) Grey Goo (7 euros) Doubted a very long time whether I should buy the Pillars of Eternity expansion (part I and II) but I decided against it as 14 euro seemed pretty steep, and the discount was "only" 40%. So maybe it'll be better soon...hopefully. Also got Doom as a gift from Satis and Shiny! Thanks guys!! Looking forward to playing it!

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
Xcom2 for 12$ on humble bundle. And you get 6 more games later. Too good to pass up.

That is a good deal. Ox already bought me a copy that I still haven't played. Too freaking busy.

I wouldn't recommend it if you've not played the vanilla campaign first, but The Long War Mod 2 was released a few days ago for anyone interested. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... =844674609

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
I missed it. Dungeons 2 looks great, I've been looking for a replacement for Dungeon Keeper for ages. Peltz, have you played Dungeons 2 yourself? How is it?

Haven't played it.
Good thing you asked, the game must be redeemed before may 27th.
