From gaming perspective, theres not a whole lot of difference, so go cheap.

I always tend to go a good bit above the cheapest RAM (but not the high end either) for my PC's, as I have the maybe unfounded fear that the cheapest ones may crap out quicker than the slightly more expensive ones. I don't really care about the speed difference. In effect I'm paying money to make sure I don't have to worry too much too soon, but again this may be a completely misplaced motivation. :P

I usually go for the cheapest, but large quantities of it, from a decent manufacturer. I have 18GB in this computer. When I build my next machine, I'll probably throw 32GB into it. Which will probably be next year. FUCK YOU INTEL AND YOUR BROADWELL DELAYS! :argue:
