Re: J's adventures in Skyrim!
Btw: how do i post a pic from my steam library here? And does it matter if it's stored private/public or friends only?

Re: J's adventures in Skyrim!
You can post them as links from steamcommunity website i think. Just make sure you publish them under public.

Re: J's adventures in Skyrim!
Any picture you take with the Steam (F12) function is stored under C:\Steam\Userdata\your account\760\remote\game ID You can upload any pics directly from there. Alternatively, you can set pics you've uploaded to Steam to public, log into the Steam web client (not the software client) and use the pic URL to refer to.

You don't have to sign in, just do a user search for yourself and link from there.

Don't listen to Peltz! He's just trying to steal your Steam password by not making you sign in!

Re: J's adventures in Skyrim!
Lol thx Peltz, no idea what i'm doing wrong there though. Move this thread to general technical? Small explanations for the pics: First one was a (imho) cool kill i made. I had been sneaking around in a bandit hide-out, killing everyone with sneak attacks with my bow. When i noticed their leader was upstairs, i decided to hide behind the wall near the stairs, and shoot one of the bottles with an arrow. Everything went as planned: he heard the noise, came down to see what happened at the table, so with his back towards me he was a pretty easy victim to backstab. Had a cool animation, and i was proud my plan went exactly as planned. You can see by the way he's sitting he had no idea what happened to him. Second one was for Satis: they're not naked dead chicks, but 2 killed zombies humping eachother is something you'll appreciate, no doubt! Forgot to add a small update: i just hit lvl 15, recently got owned pretty bad by a dragon and some undead thing at the same location. I'll go back there later, perhaps. And bring some backup. While on my way to the greybeards or so, I noticed blue flying orbs. Curious to see what they were and where they seemed to come from i learned my lesson a bit later: they're wisps, and if i piss off the wisp mother, she has no trouble killing me! I'll probably have to come back later here as well. Oh and i just learned how i can bind/use my hotkeys (1,2,...). Only because i read something about it in the manual and decided to google it.

Re: J's adventures in Skyrim!
Haha no, the manual says you can use the numeric keys (1,2,...) as hotkeys. I had to google HOW though, since the expected way (go to your inventory, press 1 to link a weapon to this key) didn't work. While searching, i found people of lvl 30+ didn't realise how it worked, so i shouldn't feel that bad

Re: J's adventures in Skyrim!
How does it work then, while we are on the subject?

Re: J's adventures in Skyrim!
You can 'favorite' weapons, armor, spells etc. by pressing F in the inventory. If you then press 'a' (in my game) you get a list of your favorites ingame (and the action pauses). When you get this list, you can push your numeric keys to assign them. So you have to figure out by yourself you have to assign them in the favorite list. Some combinations of dualwielding still aren't working really well though. And i have problems when switching from spell + sword to shield + sword, probably because i have 2 identical shields.
