Haha, I don't think it was banned - if it was, it still aired for long enough for me to remember it. Gutted when the can was empty, every, damn, time.

I'm surprised the woman would even LET him lick her after first licking the table, floor, windows and whatnot.

Re: Funny Stuff II
Yeah that's a big fat lol. Jobs, patron saint to the hipsters and business gurus. They will save the world for us! Sucks that he's dead, but I don't believe for a minute that he had all that much of an influence on even Apple's own business, let alone the world. I just hope his relatively early death won't make him into a half-man, half-God figure for those people...but then again, I guess he already kinda was.

Re: Funny Stuff II
I don't think Steve Jobs made the world "immeasurably better". that's fanboyism. He did bring Apple back from the brink of destruction, though... I have no doubt he was mainly responsible for Apple's resurrection. I also believe he was a heavy influence in the design and marketing of the ipod, iphone and itabs, all of which definitely had measurable impacts in their tech sectors. I think Apple (and hence jobs) is greatly responsible for the measurable improvement of cell phone UIs and for the appearance of tablets. I'm sorry he's dead.
On the other hand, he's also the architect of walled gardens, proprietary tech, DRM in downloadable content (though arguably, we wouldn't have downloadable content like we do now without him), and zealous patent trolling. For every good thing he did for the tech industry and consumers, he did something equally bad, imo. Some people may argue that Bill Gates is evil or whatever, but he's done a lot more good than evil imo.

Re: Funny Stuff II
I have no doubt he was a major factor in Apple's resurrection, but I don't believe in one-man-warriors-taking-on-the-world. The way I see he it he must have made some important decisions on the direction the company had to take, but it's impossible that he was also heavily involved in design, technical production, promotion and market research...that's a company effort. No one man can keep track of all those things and think up or even approve them, that would require an almost impossible lucky streak.
See, it just irks me that all these eulogies say "JOBS DID THIS AND THAT AND EVERYTHING" while the reality is Apple did those things. Sure, Jobs was important for Apple, but the whole 'Apple is Jobs and Jobs is Apple' idea is clearly just marketing branding in such a massive company. It's just so uggghh to see all the fanboys fawn over him.

Re: Funny Stuff II
We'll see. If Apple crashes and burns in the short term, perhaps it really was all him.

Re: Funny Stuff II
Perhaps. Or perhaps Apple owners will say "everything will be shit now that Steve is gone" and stop buying stuff because of that. I wouldn't put it past them tbh.

I guess the following picture makes the discovery that neutrinos can travel faster than light void.
