Lara Crost and the Guardian of Light for 6 bucks on Gamersgate, registers on Steam. Me and Derf played this but never finished it - because of lag and broken voice chat. But I think it can be awesome if you play it in a local network, like Satis and Shiny. It's very Indiana Jones-y, a ton of fun in co-op.

And for those who go for the cheapest price, Witcher 2 preorder for £20.60/€23.56/$33.71 on D2D if you use the coupon 'SIZZLE'. Normally that would be me; but I'm going with GOG for personal reasons. Still, this is the cheapest pre-order I've seen so far for Witcher 2.

The FEAR collector is on sale for $9.99... that's FEAR 1, FEAR 2 and two DLCs for FEAR 1. Not bad... even though I played FEAR 1, I never played any of the DLCs or FEAR 2, so I bought it. I feel like playing a stupid shooter. FEAR 3 is up for presale at $44.99, but I had to give that one a pass.

FEAR 2 was enjoyable, but that's about it. it's nowhere near as atmospheric as FEAR 1.

The gunplay, which is arguably the best consistent part of the series, is still pretty tight though. I don't think you'll regret buying the game.

GoG has a 50% off sale until July 4th for a bunch of interplay classics, like Descent, Fallout, Earthworm Jim, MDK and Freespace. For anyone wanting to catch up on their old school gaming, looks like they're all hovering around $2.99.

Yeah, I got a few games from it (Lionheart and Redneck Rampage complete). 3 dollar a game is nothing. Also picked up Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project earlier for 2 bucks. Playing it now, great fun.

I never actually played it on my own PC, but I've played some at a friend's and this is one console game that doesn't lose any value or coolness due to bad porting. Still best played with a gamepad, but runs very slick and is a great game.

Mmm whats up with steam, im getting 50kbs download rates?

Servers are being hit like a bitch with people downloading TF2 (and the other f2p games).

Same problems with TF2 crafting servers, often lose connection to them.

Aaand there's word that the servers are being tweaked to accomodate the upcoming sales.

Homefront is on sale for 50% off... so $25. Tempted... really tempted....
