From Dust
I've heard good stuff about this before, and this trailer looks really interesting Maybe I just like to play God, though.

Re: From Dust
mmmk...wtf?
A few gripes.
1. It's ubisoft, so it's going to be loaded with BS DRM. 2. Where the hell is the 1080p version of this? 480p? Seriously!?

Re: From Dust
I thought Ubi was loosening their position on the DRM, but I can't be sure. Or maybe it's that they removed it from most of their games after the first few months...which is when 80% of all sales are made for most games of course. I should check it out probably.
And yeah, Ubi marketing not exactly shining with that bogus quality. :p

Re: From Dust
If they've removed the DRM from the assassin's *blah* games, I might actually buy them. Can you verify this? I enjoyed the games, but I refuse to buy into that DRM.

Re: From Dust
Apparently, according to this January article the "always online" DRM was patched out for Assassin's Creed 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction, now only requiring an activation and an online check as you start the game. Also, R.U.S.E. uses Steamworks instead of DRM. http://www.gameguru.in/pc/2011/07/ubiso ... pparently/No word on the others tho (which sucks, cause I really really want to play Silent Hunter V).
