I'm back, pretty tan (and sunburnt in my neck - a redneck if you will) and having spent a lot of time walking around cities and temples, taking long swims and spending decadent amounts of money on great food. Some highlights: marinated and seared chicken breast with emmental, quail stuffed with asparagus and foie gras and rabbit stewed in port with chocolate. And of course, some Burger King, McDo and KFC visits in between. The person I was with wasn't much of a fisheither, or I'd have hit the fresh fish restaurants of Marsaxlokk. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marsaxlokk

I hit the war museum again for some war porn (comparing it to MoW of course) but didn't take pics since i didn't bring my own camera. My friend had one though and since he was with me at the aviation museum I got some decent plane pics. May post later.

Also bought a Maltese Football Association polo (awesome) and a recent champions Valetta FC jersey (triple awesome because of their main sponsor, a tuna farm).

I may go back in October or so, when the sun is ok but the water is still warm from the summer heat. July and August are suicide for me, temperatures go to 35-40 C in the shade. The water was actually a little chilly still, at around 17 degrees, but very much swimmeable. No idea why all those silly people were only going in for a quick foot bath and otherwise just lying on the beach.
