PvZ is awesome. Gotta love that the freaking lead designer himself did voices for the themesong. The zombie dolphin in particular is kick ass. And the girl is just the cutest thing from here to eternity.

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
I present you...The Humble Indie Bundle #2! Pay anything you want for this pack of DRM-free 5 indie games...part goes to charity, part to the developers, but if you choose you can give everything to either. Sweet! http://www.humblebundle.com/I'm not sure I'm gonna buy it for myself, since I own 3 of the 5 games already. But I may do so as a donation, and because Revenge of the Titans interests me. Quick overview: Braid - a must-play. Incredibly clever, beautiful game. +++ Machinarium - an artistic masterpiece, but it's a puzzle/point and click (ish) adventure game so I guess you gotta like that ++ Osmos - relaxing, and a lot more to it than it seems ++ Cortex Command - don't know it ? Revenge of the Titans - a tower defense game, supposed to be really good (and looks sweet) rating pending :p

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
Having said that we have too many games already, there are Easter sales on all around the web. I have the impression that I'm the only one who ever bothers with buying games from Gamersgate or D2D or Impulse though. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/04 ... argains-9/

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
Cool. While Steam is my central go-to, there are often way better offers on GG, Impulse and D2D. And if you're lucky you can even register your copy on Steam afterwards anyway. I got MoW: Assault Squad on D2D for 14 € a month after its release, registering on Steam and everything. Gamersgate usually allows games to be registered on Steam and got a number of great deals going btw: http://www.gamersgate.com/

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
GG and Impulse offer some games that are unavailable on steam, ie Fort Zombie.

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
Yeah, and there's that of course. Would be pretty dumb of Stardock to offer their own games on their biggest competitor's digital distribution service

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
EA week on Steam, but the first sale is a pretty hilarious non-sale Dragon Age 2 for 37 €, when you can buy it on play.com or amazon for 12 €. And 15 € for DA:O and Awakenings. Jeez. Let's hope the rest of the week will offer REAL sales.

Re: Steam sales thread and other bargain stuff
figures the EA sale would suck. It's like some sort of twisted statement.
