something more sedate. Reminds me of Portishead.

Re: Music
There's a free compilation of nerdcore available here: http://www.nerdcorenow.com/vb/content/2 ... w-Volume-1Nerdcore Now, Volume 1 For those not "in the know", nerdcore is basically rap by white guys with a tech/computer game focus. Some of it is actually quite good, though I have not listened to this album yet. If you hate rap, you may not approve, though the geek fixation may appeal to some.

Re: Music
Silpheed midi music using a Roland MT-32. This is from circa 1988, I believe. Since we're bandying about midi music and all.

Re: Music
Loved the Silpheed and Arnold Balmer Golf tracks. I've been in quite the retro mood lately, so it warms my heart to hear some good MIDI.

Re: Music
Intro to police quest using both the Adlib and Roland MT-32. Adlib first. The Roland is worth listening to.

Re: Music
I forgot about the Police Quest music. Got that police series feel I found a piano cover of one of the VVVVVV songs above. It's kinda eerie how much of it carries over. I know I posted the original above but I'll post both after each other for comparison.

Re: Music
Was definitely more impressed by the piano part than the original.
Then again, a well-played piano can make a lot of things sound really good.
