Re: Crysis 2 - Rumoured 2010 release [PC/X360/PS3]
Meh, it's the multiplayer demo, not the single player demo. I'm not so interested in multiplayer. I'll probably still give it a shot later, but it requires a gamespy login, upping the ugh factor.

Oh, that sucks. Yeah wouldn't play Crysis 2 for the MP either. Any word on the graphics tho?

I still haven't cared enough to create/remember a gamespy account. I'm not honestly sure I will. *shrug* I'll let you know.

ok,I played it. The graphics aren't bad, but from what I saw, they're not crazy great either. They're average at best. Here's a vid I took. http://clankiller.com/stuff/crysis2gameplay.wmv

It looks good, the stealth/power/whatever modes probably allow for a pretty diverse type of MP. Still, can't afford to get sucked into another MP so yeah, not a sell for me either before some SP stuff surfaces.

Re: Crysis 2 - Rumoured 2010 release [PC/X360/PS3]
It's not bad. They do the unlockable stuff like a lot of games now, which certainly adds to the draw to play more. The map I played was pretty diverse, but also quite small. I didn't experience any more maps, though, so it's hard to say if that's average or not. I dunno. I'll be playing it for SP, though.

360 vs PC Obviously, the PC is infront but I am still impressed that a 6 year old machine can do it as well as it is! EDIT: Don't forget to change the video resolution

huh, I'm actually surprised how good the PC version looks. It looks way better than the 360 version. Granted, the 360 looks pretty damned good for how old it is, but I didn't think it looked all that great when I was playing it.

Re: Crysis 2 - Rumoured 2010 release [PC/X360/PS3]
Apparently there's an update coming to Crysis 2 that'll improve the graphical options significantly on the PC version. Also a high-rez texture pack. It may make Crysis 2 worth buying... though not from Origin. http://www.1up.com/news/crysis-2-will-l ... ter-monday
