Re: Good films..
I watched a few movies recently and decided to post my take on them
Girl with the Dragon Tatoo. I liked this movie. It had some obvious parts but also some things I did not expect to have happen.
Precious - This was sad and a chick flick more than anything. (I'm trying to not give too much away by saying so little).
The Book of Eli - I love post war movies - and I love a lot of the things in this movie - too bad at the end they make it gay.
The Bounty Hunter - typical Jennifer Aniston chick flick. But some yummy parts.
Green Zone - Dunno kept thinking Born Identity but not - just type casting. I love a good conspiracy even when they are not so good.
Valentines Day - chick flick that sucked
I dunno I watched a few more but my mind is tired as I just mowed the lawn in 95F weather. Ugg.

Re: Good films..
While I definitely appreciate the effort I am slightly amused at Shiny rating up chick flicks on CK. Is the Girl with the Dragon Tatoo one of those stig larsson movies? And I always wanted to see the Green Zone, sounds good. Also want to go see Inception.

Re: Good films..
Green Zone was ok... a bit typical Matt Damon blah. Still, as long as you don't pay too much to see it, it's worth a couple hours' diversion. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1132620/

Re: Good films..
Chick flicks should be rated on here because some of you have wives/girlfriends, and you never know when Suga or Pevil will want a chick flick. I admit I can be pretty girly. I love pink electronics, shopping, etc. but I still have a boyish personality needed at times for these forums. Plus you never know when you need a movie to get your chick to go out of Overt status. Good to know what will please her should you be stuck watching crap in your opinion for the next hour or two. I mean if you need a good girly gift for your chick, would you trust a dude or a chick to help pick it out? Hell I'd ask you all for gift advise for Mr. Satis only he would read this and see it.

Haha, fair enough. And you just know I'd advise you to buy him a pink dildo every time, just to see how it is received.

Re: Good films..
Hello everyone I went to see Inception last weekend. It's easily the best movie I've seen this year. Christopher Nolan is awesome!

Re: Good films..
yea, I've heard lots of good things about that movie, but haven't had a chance to see it yet. I might have to trek to the theater for it.

Re: Good films..
Honestly had to look up which movie that was as I'm crappy with names. Yes this sounds good. I may have to go see this soon. I've been so damn lazy about going to the theater lately. I just want to kill the other people that never shut the hell up!

Re: Good films..
I'm sure most of you have seen Nolan's Batman Begins and The Dark Knight which are pretty good. I actually liked his others a bit more with Memento, The Prestige, and now Inception. There's not many directors today that direct and write their own movies which is nice! The only bad thing is it takes longer for them to make a movie Is Green Zone like a Jason Bourne film? It sure looks like a prequel or something. I watched Law Abiding Citizen that's pretty decent, very dark film kept you entertain.

Re: Good films..
Green Zone isn't a Bourne movie, though the dude certainly acts like he's Jason Bourne from time to time. It wasn't all that great, but not so bad you wouldn't want to watch it when otherwise bored.
Regarding the Dark Knight movies, I was ok with them. They would've been perfect with the exception of some pretty huge flaws in both movies. It sucks when a movie comes within reach of greatness only to get slapped down by Hollywoodisms or a director's ego or something.

Re: Good films..
Inception was good. I will not go into more detail because since Satis wants to see this movie I don't want to give anything accidentally away. I would go see it again in the theater even with all the people I hate.
