Re: Music
Haha, yeah i would rather listen to that.
Or this...
Admittedly ^ that's not awesome song, but it's kinda funky. If only it was a little less silly.

Wow...that song defines "repetitive".

Re: Music
Yeah, but more than that I miss being able to go anywhere I want. I have some decent financial reserves but nothing of the sort that I could just go "fuck it" and leave everything behind here for a year and go live somewhere else or travel. Well, I actually COULD do it, but it'd involve moving back in with my parents. It's a big enough house and they'd leave me alone, but yeah...

Re: Music
Yesterday it was prom night at our school, i would have loved to have no responsabilities, no worries, no wife (lol).
But it still was really fun and i don't have a huge hangover now (unlike some of my students without a doubt), which is a very big plus.

Re: Music
I don't venture in to this thread very often, but christ it's like a midlife crisis meeting in here! But I totally understand. I dunno if this is just me being a massive gay, but lately I've got a hard on for a lot of acoustic songs - mostly about difficulties in life and relationships. I figure it's just cuz it's mostly relevant and easy to listen too. Blue October: Hate Me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDxgSvJINlURise Against: Swing Life Away (Acoustic) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaAnuDQv2SIOh, and Biffy Clyro: Many of Horror http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sWKQm8Nd5kThat being said, right now I'm playing this System of a Down: Revenga http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVaPFtVx8PA

Re: Music
mmmm, man, I must say I hate the vast majority of that music. Except for the System of a Down, that's a great song. I can't say I actually listened to all of Derf's videos, just a smattering. You're such a pop ho Derf! there's nothing wrong with some acoustic or slow stuff, though.

Re: Music
I like some rap / r&b, but mostly I dislike it. Same with country, opera, jazz... a whole slew of musical styles. Still, there're always a few exceptions.

Just came across Drums Are For Parades, three Belgian guys making noise with guitars... but great noise:
