 MMO account scams. So ive been receiving emails on my hotmail account about my long idle WoW account being sold and today i received an email about my Aion account having its details changed. Now with WoW account i'll be honest i was a bit nervous because you know i dont like my stuff being used by others without my permission and even if i havent used it for years now. However.. 1. I remembered that my WoW account isnt even connected to my hotmail account and.. 2. I have never played Aion, even in beta, so huh?  Check the picture below.

A telltale for me is to either look at the full header information (invariably, it's from an email that definitely not associated with the company), or by hovering over the link to see where it REALLY goes. Being a long term internet user, I expect pretty much everything to be a scam... I've suspected legit emails on more than one occasion.

Re: MMO account scams. Hah, i know i have bored you already with these scam attempts but the latest i received was quite the improvement both text wise and content wise. The link however is so shady that anyone who clicks it deserves whats coming their way.
