Not really any resolutions...life is relatively balanced already. Maybe take my work more seriously would be a good one.
Other than that I'm reading up on games writing. Ordered a few books. I likely will sign up for a university level course of Czech too...figured it'd be a shame to just waste what (little) I learned while I was there.

game writing? Like dialog?
No resolutions here, just more of the same. Lose weight, gain muscle, go to school, get a new job, get better at programming. The usual shit.

Yeah, dialogue, storytelling, that kind of crap. And general rules of game design (which are tied to storytelling anyway). I'm also looking into theories of dynamic storytelling which I think are the future of storytelling in games, but they are incredibly complex to get right and are founded in some serious programming.  We'll see.

well, good luck, let me know how it does. I'm taking a Windows programming with c++ course in spring, c++ 3 in summer and directx programming with c++ in fall... hopefully by this time next year I'll be writing simple games.

Give a shout if you need beta testers for 3D Rape Extreme (your first release)  No but seriously, I'll help if I can.
If nothing else, the books already help a lot to recognize certain patterns and styles of writing in the games I play. Even the little I did read so far gave me a new perspective on things. We'll see if I can carry it over to more creative things.
