 Nvidia drivers 190.62 release itroduced distorted images and weird graphics effects which result in total failure of my machine. The same version is also available for the 9 series so be careful with these. I rolled back to 182 or something which works just fine.

O'cram installed the new nvidia drivers yesterday for his new (2nd hand) 9600 GT. No problems yet, but we were rather chuffed by the fact the drivers regulated the fan speed. Without the drivers it was whirring like a 747 on idle.
