Valve deletes all items gained by external idling, giving halos to the players who didn't cheat as a new hat. LOL. Way to pwn the idlers Valve! Love it.
Of course, the Angry Internet Men are now piling the hate on Valve. But who cares about those cheating lamers, right?

from TFA:
[quote]Rather than cheating to win matches, players have been cheating to gain in-game items, using “external idling applicationsâ€

I'll check when i get home if I got a halo. Btw, they also significantly increased the drop rate of other hats.

I'm finally getting the hang of this game a little. It's still not really my 'thang' but it's good for some quick fragging when i'm bored. Racked up a lot of kills yesterday as engineer/heavy/spy. I was surprised at how much havoc you can wreak as a spy....I managed to get behind the enemy team at a bottleneck and backstabbed 3 people in 15 seconds.
Love experimenting with the classes you can disguise as as a spy....I found that engineers are a good cover (their running back and forth isn't very suspicious), as well as an enemy spy (mindfuck). Medics are sweet too because people will actually offer themselves to you, haha.
Strangely, I got 2 item drops in one 30-minute session yesterday, the Kritzkrieg for the Medic and the Dead Ringer for the spy. I now have all three medic unlockables, which is kind of funny because I rarely ever play as a medic. Wanna trade Satsi?
Btw post your backpack examiner links if you want...wanna see what you guys have and don't have

The drop system is totally random i believe, so you could even get 3 unlockables for a class you haven't ever played.

That's my backpack, i've deleted quite a lot of duplicates to avoid messages that my backpack is full. If trading gets implemented, i'll send you some stuff ox.
