@Ox: I don't know the word "jumping" for music. Hardstyle is getting more popular here, but I don't move around in such circles.
I think jumping is a stricktly Belgian word, though I could be wrong off course. Musically, nothing is harder then Gabber (gabba for the Enlish types that can't pronounce the r right).
Don't you love the early 90's?

My opinion is that 'jumpen' is invented by people who suck at 'hakken'
I guess every generation has it's own weird music dances.

I'm listening to Cradle of Filth. Love em. But I have a funny feeling you guys wouldn't appreciate it.

haha .. man, they're OLD. They're probably one of the ugliest bands I've ever seen. Quite old. Quite English too, actually. :p
Anyway, I'm listening to Godflesh. Probably one of my fav bands at the moment (next to Skinny Puppy and Cradle of Filth). heh

LMAO @ The Ting Tings... OH man.. this was on the play list at work a few weeks ago, just boppy and catchy and hum-worthy enough to drive us ALL nuts.... although... I still like it in a demented sort of way.
Moloko.. freakin' awesome. Always lovely to dig up on the ol' iTunes after a while. Have you heard Roisin Murphy's solo albums? Brilliant. Favs of mine are 'Ruby Blue', 'Ramalama Bang Bang' and 'Off On It'. Shattered that I didn't get out to see her perform when she was in Melbourne a few months back. From what I heard, she's bloody brilliant live (unfortunately I was in saving mode for my o/s trip). , A great one to pump out in the car if you feel like being an obnoxious buttface!
Some other favs of mine at this current moment are.
The Hush Sound - and
Operator Please - and their irritatingly teenage boppy song (Yupe, totally a guilty pleasure. Also happen to be a young aussie band which is a boon)
