well i'd rather they're vague about it than promise then keep pushing back. Spore is out early sept (5th?) but I'm not buying it, not with their bullshit "hmmm well despite you seeing videos 2 years ago where we had underwater evolutions, they in fact...umm... don't work... so they'll be in an expansion, not the release. same with flight. #cough#. money? what money... I don't want money..."

lol. I didn't even know Wright was being so lame with Spore. I'll end up buying it anyway though...it looks like a lot of fun, regardless.

ditto. it looks an amazing game and I have to give them that, but I'm not gonna spend £20 a time on stupid expansions when if I wait long enough I'll get it along with all the expansions for about £40 (basing it on the Sims Collection when that first came out; Sims + 7 expansions, little bit nicer than the ~£180 you'd have paid buying them all seperately...)

I'll wait and see how good the original game is going to be. I mean, after all, 90% of all the Sims expansions were completely and utterly pointless.

Take the Sims college expansion. Wow, so I can actually go to college now, sleep with strangers, have pillowfights and graduate? Yeah...that's awesome. NOT.

But I suppose it would be possible yeah. Even though, from what I recall, Sims 'sex' is like a little 5-second whirlpool thingie beneath the sheets. Sims are 5-second men, but their girlfriends don't seem to care. Such bliss.

Not sure if the potential injuries they could get from trying out some of the more...adventurous porn would be less than those from Sims sex, though.
