Hurrah for the pain ray!
Hehe...a lucky reporter gets to feel the loving caress of a not-so-secret Army weapon that shoots a ray of pain. It's microwave or something that stimulates nerve endings to cause extreme agony.

I bet people would be willing to tolerate this kind of pain over rubber bullets anyday. Rubberbullets can kill, cause bone fractures, loss of fingers and many other potentially fatal results and they are very much in use by the police.

yea, it's better than some of the alternatives. Electrified water cannons aren't too nice either. Nor are pepper gas launchers.

?
Since microwaves tend to be radioactive, I'd still prefer rubber balls and water guns over them, and causing no shit over all.

Radioactive? What kind of propaganda made you believe that?

Heh... If you sustained your "sense" for "humor", which has no home in the conversation you're about to start, I might start caring to answer that.

eh? I must've missed something. Microwaves are radiation, certainly. But so's a laser. Using lasers to break up crowds would probably be really effective. Heck, using a powerful enough laser you can break a crowd into twice as many pieces....four times as many....mmm.

They're radiation yes, not radioactive. Might be a language misunderstanding here for gfree.

AH that is it. Okay.... I was never good at physics, especially not at the terminology. Although I know I keep my cell phone close to me only when I really but really need it. Don't try to convince me it is harmless!
