Date format question
Damn, why am I writing "March 31. 2007", when Satis on his site writes it as "31. March 2007"? I thought both people of USA and UK use the format Month/Day/Year. Was I wrong?

yeah you are. UK uses day/month/year
Well if we're using numbers we do, e.g. 12/04/07 today. If writing it in words it would still using be written as 12th April or 12 April, but it is acceptable as April 12 as well.

That's just a holy pwnage. Sat uses DMY format, pev uses DMY format, only I try to "be nice" on the people who use MDY, although I use DMY as well.
Anyone knows who insists on using MDY actually?

lol, yes, september, not november. :p
btw, on that note, I think they need to rename the months.
December = Dec = latin for TEN... so December should be the tenth month, not the damn twelfth. What's up with that? Ditto with September, October, November, etc. I don't mind having months named after dead Roman emperors, but if you're going to include latin in the month name, please make it correct.

According to Wikipedia, in the winter there weren't any months in Roman days, January and February were added later, and the rest of the months just shifted by two.

Indeed. Apparently the Romans didn't do anything in those months, otherwise they would have bothered naming them. From that we can conclude that the Romans didn't go skying in winter (or only in March). Very interesting indeed.
