Well it wasnt really a loin cloths, more like leather/fur underroos.
As you can here, fur boots, something on his head, a necklace, and some wrist armor.
Below is a model of conan in the end of conan the barbarian, the big fight scene where he whipes out Thusla Dooms army pretty much.
Maybe heavy?

yea, looks like medium, maybe heavy. But no gauntlets, for sure. Not sure what he has on his legs.
And I wouldn't call Conan stupid...that bastard got laid alot.

I'd say thats light. Its just leather with a chunk of metal on his chest.

I wouldn't consider anything with a big chunk of metal on it light. I still maintain medium armor.
