you have a picture for everything ox!

I love fish. Almost as much as i love meat. Apparently mum got a lot of cravings for fish while she was pregnant so maybe that's why i love it so much. Plus im a pisces... hmm... noticing a pattern... *eats fi-er... hand* tasty!

Don't think I could ever eat sushi though. Rare meat is nasty enough lol. I also dont like to get fish that still looks like a fish. Or slimy fish (mussels). But just a general fish steak is great. Cod, haddock, tuna, salmon, anything 'normal' lol.

not all sushi is raw. You should try it, I think you'll like it. Raw tuna (in sushi) is seriously great stuf.

Mussels are great, when baked or fried. Never ate them cooked.

Must be talking about seaweed, Peltz.

Something I picked up a serious taste for in Korea was squid. Man, that's great stuff. Either 'grilled' or dried. Mmmmm. Most people say it stinks. :p

That probably depends on the squid and the way it's prepared. I had it once and it was a little rubbery.

Squid is great, depending on how it's cooked and which part you're eating. Can't say i'm a huge fan, but I've had it a lot of times and can vouch for its niceness....there's not quite something so edible and rubbery at the same time. :)

But guys, you must have had squid rings at some point in your lives? That's very basic starting food for ppl interested in squid, and very tasty!

You can buy them deepfrozen in most places, don't have to go making them yourself. :) Look in your stores for it, really, it's great. Satis will no doubt agree.

Btw Satis, I know eating horse steak is 'not done' in Texas (and really the US at large), but can you buy it at most regular butcher's? Just wondering.

I have never seen horse as something that can be purchased for cunsumption in the US. It may exist somewhere, but not commonly by any means.

As for squid rings...you can get calamari that's breaded and fried. I haven't see "squid rings" like that, though, just calami at restaurants.

Squid is chewy because youre either cooking it too much (and the moisture is getting out), or the oil isnt hot enough.
