I meant the SLI comment to Ox...he seemed to imply that the ATI crossfire is the only SLI solution....probably just me, though.
Anyway...sheesh...first off, you're one dyslexic mofo. It's KV8 and AN8. As for the differences.

Heh, I didn't mean to imply that, no.  I know that SLI and Crossfire are different solutions offered by Nvidia and Ati. (and that crossfire has the better features of the two)
But anyway, thanks for the assistance. I'll be putting the order up as soon as those dudes running the shop come back from holidays (bastards closing at the worst possible time). Power to the people!

So why does asus list them as A8N and K8V on their webpage and im pretty sure when my computer starts up it also displays A8N.
EDIT: Sorry i see we talked about different manufacturers. AN8 and KV8 belong to ABIT and A8N and K8V belong to Asus.

...go to Asus.com and find me a motherboard called A8N and K8V. The fact there were two AMD socket boards called AN8 and KV8 made me think you'd bungled the name. If not I see a few possibilities.
1. You're a crackhead
2. You're actually using Azuz or some other motherboard that's probably a cheap knockoff of Asus.
3. You've bought an 'Asus' board from a black market motherboard ring that steals rejected harddrives from taiwanese dump sites and sells them.
4. The world is about to explode and you're diverting my attention from that fact.
