Alright, issues fixed. The problem with the old card: fan stopped. That kinda explains why it runs ok in 2d and flips out in 3d. Yay me. Tried buying a replacement fan, but the onboard fan power connectors didn't match. Pissed me off...I had it mounted and everything before coming to that realization. So I just threw up my hands and bought a BFG GeForce FX 6800 overclocked. http://www.bfgtech.com/6800OC.html Performance is a significant step up from my last card. Significant. I've only played SWG so far (was suffering withdrawals) but I was able to crank up the graphics to ALMOST max (1024x768 and max on everything else) without any slowdown. Tatooine is suddenly pretty again. But anyway, other than my credit card screaming at me, I seem to be working good now. How much long till the 15th? *edit* oh, yea, I bought everything at Fry's. Sweet, how much did you pay for it? And you can crank up some more HL2 and (new and improved) Far Cry graphs too, bah. I hate Satis and his fancy graphics card.

not sure if you wanna risk it with a new card but...
