In Belgium we're celebrating the end of WW I today.
In Belgium we don't have to go to the Army anymore since a couple of years (1995), otherwise Ox and I would be a veteran as well. Normally speaking.

Not that it makes a difference...in the end, everyone that was in the military was in the military, and everyone shared (roughly) the same duties and the same dangers.

Haha, fuck that shit if I were in the military...I'd find myself a job in the medical cabinet, or as a resident boot-licker for officers. Whatever keeps me out of harm's way. (and no doubt work my way up the ranks in no time) But you knew that. *recalls Satis' promise to shoot him in the back* 
Actually, you'd be doing your military service right now J.  And I'd be doing it next year, if I pass. For a long time I thought I wouldn't have to go anyway because I'm the oldest of three brothers...but apparently it don't work that way.  Nevermind, long live the end of the service! A year of my life I can dedicate to being my own bitch, as opposed to the army's.
