ok here the deal. I talked with a Ex-army buddy of mine.
If you go through ROTC, you become an officer.
If you have a degree, joined the army as an enlisted soldier, you can then take a test to go to OCS(Officer Cadite School). Which is then military college and you become an officer.
If you are already in the Army with no degree, you then have to take a test to get in the Green to Gold program. This program requires no degree and you become and officer.
