Man, that shit only goes so far. And not all that far with me. You don't fight for that crap in the military. You fight for your buddy. Right now, I don't have any buddies in the military.

That buddy thing sounds dangerous lol...I can imagine myself screaming "take them if you want, but let me live!" first thing to the enemy, before they even breached our defenses I say my skin first, then the rest. Well mebbe i'd put my life on the line for my kids, if they ever come along. But other than that, nah. I'd prolly make the worst fellow soldier in history. On the other hand, I wouldn't trust a lot of ppl with weaponry around me anyway...there's bound to be a lot of morons between them (as with any job), so ty kindly. And what has the greater cause ever done for us? hehe.
black coat, white shoes, black hat, cadillac
the boy's a time bomb...
gotta love that song

I want to fight in a battle with Ox. He'd be the first to run... and I'd be the first to shoot him in the back.
Hell, the way he talks, you'd think he were French or something.

Hehehe, nah, just looking out for nr. 1. I'd not necessarily run first, but i'd sure as hell be the first to sell out my companions, if it saves my ass. Mind you, this is all written from a pov that if i get into the army, it won't be my choice. If i had joined voluntarily, now THAT might have been slightly immoral.
Bleh...all i want is to live in a big forest in the middle of nowhere, so everyone with leave me alone, with
->sattelite T3
->my own liquor brewing setup
->possibly a chimp slave that chops wood, hunts animals, cooks and brews my liquor.
Gotta start looking out for eligable chimps methinks

Hahaha, lmao. That pic ruled. But you forget the log cabin that was supposed to look warm and cosy. And make private sergeant or lieutenant or whateva. First thing i'd do in the army is sign up for officers training...more pay, and you get to boss ppl around! And all that after a crappy exam, tss. I wonder why not everyone takes those tests, there must be ppl there that love being commanded.
Satis, 11b, got any idea why not everyone has a shot at officer-ness? Can't be bothered, tests too hard, no benefits...what's the catch?

number one reason for me was it would require me to be in alot longer. I'd also have to go through OCS (I'm sure I could do it, but I doubt it's easy) plus 2nd lieutenants (the lowest officer rank) are total bitches. They get shafted constantly.

what's OCS? Officer something something?
And figured about the shafting of lower officers, low-lvl authority figures always get flak. Strange that you'd have to be in much longer in order to get somewhere..my dad got to sergeant or something during his one-year service. Of course he was part of the medical staff so he did have an automatic sort of military rank or summit. (you can see that i'm very good at this )
But you prolly meant getting to a real officer rank though, not crappy sergeant hehe.

Thanks for the explanation. Wtf is an E1 then, if a private is E2? Toilet scrubber first class? (assuming that a regular scrubber is E0)
