' is for feet
" is for inches
http://convert.french-property.co.uk/ for total conversion tables.
I'm, in Imperial measurements, 6 foot and weigh 187 pounds/13.3 stones. It would be about time that the UK and the US started to properly use the metric system tho.

They tried that once, but we were too stupid and stubborn. To this day I can only think of liquid measure in metric because of all the chemistry.

yea....I grew up around the world and could use metric better than standard. However, having moved here, NOONE uses metric. If you want to be understood, you have to use standard...so, I've lost it all.
Isn't 1 meter roughly 3 feet?
Anyway, I'm 178cm tall and weigh about 79kg

That depends... One pre-1959 Canadian foot is 0.325 meter, while an Egyptian foot is 0.36 meter. A French foot, however, is 0.3248406 meter, a US foot 0.3048 meter, an Iraqi foot 0.316 meter, a Dutch foot 0.28313 and a Roman foot 0.296 meter.

I'm about 1m85 and last time i checked 80 kg and that's all i need to know, not interested how many stones i weigh for instance.
And yeah mole looks a lot shorter on the pictures, maybe you should let your hair grow mole.

I'm 185 cm, 77kg, but I'm out of shape. I started bicycling to and from work to rebuild my cardiovascular fitness, and cut down on my growing middle. It's about an hour each way, but the weather is nice.

Pff if you think you're out of shape, i bet i'm ten times more out of shape, since i became a student i haven't really exercised anymore, done no real sports .. combine this with excessive drinking of beer you can understand why i'm having a bit of a beer belly, i'm not really fat or so, but i gained more than 10 kilo in my first year, and it all gathered around my middle.
Damn i need to start working out or something.

I started working out due to a swelling tire around my middle. It's reducing, I think, but I'm not losing any weight. all muscle now.

I've lost 3 pounds (dunno in kilos), but I've gained more muscle. The last 3 km are up hill on the way home. I'm getting back in there. I used to be in great shape. My workout was my social life. Then I met my wife... sex.. kids... now I'm getting fat.

hmmm...I used to do alot of drugs and walked alot. Never ate, since drugs made me not hungry. So I was thin. Then I joined the army and worked out alot, ate alot. Got out of the army, stopped working out, kept eating. Bastards!

lol. Ya see Satis, working hard will never get you anywhere, hehe.
Anyhoo, I've got a beer belly but I'm also naturally strong-built (call me arrogant if you will ) so most ppl take me for being muscular first, and fat second, which is nice.
Pig, are you a cycling fan, apart from loving to ride (or so I presume)? I'm in the middle of a cycling country here, and a big cycling fan. I translate articles now and then for an American cycling site, even cover races (tickers), heh. Also ride quite a bit, but not really with a goal. And can you describe that climb you do every day? sounds like fun. hehe
