my art teacher was obsessed with the show, he went whenever it was on and got all dressed up in stockings etc.  but then he was kinda camp anyway..

Hmmh You ppl went way off topic but here's something to bring ya back,
Throwing Axe, who sais dwarves need to get close just wait and see how that 17kg axe splits the elven head. And since dwarven armor/weapons are by far the best of the best, i doubt some sissy elven arrow would even scratch it

you forgot the range difference peltz, a longbow has WWAAYY more range than a throwing axe.
and besides, most elves only need an eye slit in a helm, why aim at the armour?
and anyway, elven made weapons are light but VERY strong, maybe not as strong as dwarven stuff but not far off. 
blah...

Im with you Tyranus.
Also did i mention Elves run faster than dwarves so even if a dwarf gets close, all the efl has to do is run for a while then turn and shoot.
