Stupid bastards don't initiate dialogue
I've done almost everything of Korgan's quest now, but the last part, killing his former party, doesn't work because the fools don't want to talk to me.
Any suggestions?

I did that, but then the game returns the mesage "... has nothing to say to you."
Any more insults?

if you confront them with korgan in the party he has a dialogue with them, then they attack. i don't know why he hasn't initiated dialogue.
you all patched up?
if all else fails, save then kill the bastards and just loot the bodies for the book. screw the dialogue.

Yeah but do you get the quest XP + a happy Korgan?
Off course I'm all patched up, but BGII contains a damn lot of bugs even with all patches, there's always something wrong.

I think getting the book itself in your posession will trigger the end of the quest, thus the XP and korgan's joy. So i think it won't matter how you got it, by forced attack or not. Bleh, just give it a try, and if it don't work then we'll think of something else.
Oh, and i wouldn't say there's a lot of bugs in BG2...for a game as massive as BG2 it's almost flawless.
(and yes, i get all touchy when someone insults my belovede BG )

The bugs are the only flaw... and the crappy pathfinding.

I'm too low-level for that. Even Korgan can't hit a stunned rhino atm.
Maybe going with a five-men party wasn't such a good idea after all.
