Man I hate this shit.
I got a firewall, two goddamn anti-spyware programs, an anti-virus program and an anti hi-jack program.
What else do I need to keep my system safe from this kind of motherfuckers?

well, just for the record, a keylogger is NOT a virus. It doesn't spread automatically. It doesn't spread through email like a virus. It's a program. Someone had to put it on your computer and run it. Now, it may have been disguised as something else, but someone that uses your computer either purposefully or inadvertantly installed that thing.

Yeah well I don't use Kazaa often, and it's been a very long time since I installed something that might contain malicious stuff.

Get any programs via email? Anyone else use your computer? Download anything suspicious? BTW, are you behind a firewall? Or at least a NAT router? Though it won't stop stuff like keyloggers, it'll make other types of malicious things more difficult. (not impossible, though)
I have a Cisco router working as a NAT box... The things I can do with access lists are amazing... I only recently learned of all the crazy things I can do.

Three other people are using this pc regulary. As I said I have a firewall, and a pretty good one: Sygate Personal Firewall.
The only things I've installed lately are Windows Updates, Office 2000 and some other things I need for my study.
I don't think anything is wrong with that though.

I bet it's your dad browsing porn. Yep, probably. Maybe your mom.
If you can't control the other pc users, you may as well get used to the fact that you have crap on your pc. Nothing you can do about it. They ARE the weakest link.
