What are your thoughts on it, will it be worth it imediatly, or will you wait for patches etc? |

Well, it hasn't blown up in my face yet. As long as you don't forget to turn off the Windows firewall and the annoying Security Centre, you should be ok. Although I still haven't found prefetch yet. I'm sure it's good for something. |

I thought you were on about the Nintendo Gameboy SP2 (thge one with 2 screens). Personally in this case i think is ugly as fuck and the PSP will rock it out of the market. But seeing as were njot talking about gamboys, service pack 2 has got to be plus. How can you turn down free software thatll fix windows errors. |

I figure that I will, just because of what it is supposed to be doing, I want to find out if it works, what wont work any more, etc. |

Ok my cousin installed SP2, now all his ftp programs stopped functioning, how to disable the firewall thingy and where? |

With SP2 comes a useless security centre, you can disable the firewall from there. After you've disabled the firewall you disable the security centre. |

well test results i've seen said that it makes your computer slightly slower, but i guess that's what happens if you want updated crud. Hold on, I'll see if i can find the results... Hmm, nope, I can't find them. *shrugs* but anyway, i'm talking minutely slower. |

bleh, I read some reports that said stuff ran faster. Ah well. And, IMO, updates fixing your computer shouldn't make it slower. |

I agree, they should keep it exactly equal or faster. But nope, what I read said it was slower, but hey. I guess the thing is it's more for the computer to do. That's the problem with computer stuff these days, they are making it to complex. fools. Simplicity man! Simplicity! |

we should go back to DOS. Totally. Imagine how fast DOS would load with a 3gh processor and...erm...640k of RAM. |

lol. I think that would create a rift in the time-space continuum. I remember the days when my pc ran outta RAM in Dungeon Keeper when there were a lot of bile demons around. After I upgraded to a whooping 32mb everything went like a charm, however. |
