HL movie sharing
I'm far from owning one digital video-camera but if I acquire it, I plan to record passing through whole HL without dying and potentialy without any scrap before Xen.
1. Will any of you be bothered enough to download 8hr movie?
2. Is there technique which do not depend on the platform (compatibile with Win and UNIX) for me to bring CD in the unit and somehow share low quality image through the Web?
3. I have not enough space on Web to place thing. Is there technique to bring CD in the unit on the local computer connected to the Web and then give premissions to others to get it from there? (How)

1. I won't, but I don't like HL.
2/3. Looks like the same question to me. What do you mean by "the unit?", sharing it with other people?. You could, for example, put the file in a seperate folder with a nothing-saying filename (like GFreeman's personal video), and share only that folder through a p2p program like eMule. With the nothing saying name, you ward off people you don't want to download it, and you can share the ed2k link with people you want to download the file.
There is also a eMule version for Linux, aMule, prolly somewhere on sourceforge.

1. Personally, i wouldnt be interested in a movie of someone playing HL unless it is about 20 seconds long and showing some MAd sKillZ.
2. Je ne sais pas.
3. Je ne sais pas deux temps.

lol. Below 3 megs. You need to invest in a real website, gfree. This thing costs me about $110 a year... that's really not very much money when you think about it. 1GB of space.

What's to keep you from hosting on my host? I suppose you'll need access to a major credit card... is that the problem? The internet kinda makes international boundaries a thing of the past.

GFreeman, I pay for hosting from a third party provider. Well, good luck on finding a good host, I suppose.
